Exhaustion

Prevention of Exhaustion

Drink plenty of fluids.
Avoid exertion in hottest weather.
Cover head and neck during outdoor exercise or exertion.
Wear loose-fitting clothing.
Drink fluids during exertion or exercise.

Home Remedies for Exhaustion

Consume a glass of coconut water or grape juice. Or Churn out a juice of three dates with eight ounces of water and drink.
Apply aloe vera, cod liver oil, or garlic oil to the irritation.
Cooling your skin is a number one priority to prevent heat from raging further. Pack some ice cubes into a sealed plastic bag and wrap it in a dishcloth. Apply to the affected areas for five to ten minutes at a time.
There are many non- prescription lotions that relieve the itch from heat rash. Smooth mentholated or calamine lotion on your skin to cool the irritated areas.
Apply baking powder or baby powder.

Ear Infection

Wash hands and toys frequently. Also, day care with 6 or fewer children can lessen your child's chances of getting a cold or similar infection. This leads to fewer ear infections.
Breast milk contains antibodies that offer protection from ear infections.
Avoid propping a bottle in your baby's mouth while he or she is lying down.
Make sure that no one smokes in your home. Away from home, stay in smoke-free environments.
Avoid overusing antibiotics.

Home Remedies for Ear Infection

Use ajwain oil as an ear drop for earache relief.
Using ear candles available from health stores can also help draw impurities out of the ear.

• Avoid solid food for a few hours until you feel better.
• Avoid very hot or cold liquids.
• Don't exercise strenuously until you are free of symptoms.
• If your job involves preparing food, you should not work for 48 hours after symptoms clear up.

Home Remedies for Diarrhoea

• Take a ripe banana and mash it properly. Add 1 tsp of tamarind pulp and a pinch of salt to it. Consume this mixture two times in a day.
• A popular diarrhea home remedy treatment is to consume a paste made of 15-20 fresh curry leaves mixed with 1 tsp honey.
• Mix 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp ginger juice, and 1/4 tsp pepper powder and drink it.
• Boil a little water and add 30 grams (or a handful) of rice powder to make the solution into a thin liquid. Add one level teaspoon of salt and water to this liquid to make it up to 1 litre.
• Water boiled with holy basil could be taken as a drink and also could be used as gargle.
• Grate one raw papaya. Add 3 cups water, boil for 10 mins, strain and finish the water in one day

Studies of both men and women have shown that vigorous exercise, even if done only once a week, has a protective effect against diabetes.
The use of a diet low in calories and in saturated fat is an ideal strategy for preventing Type II diabetes.
Smoking is especially dangerous for people with diabetes who are at risk for heart and blood vessel diseases.

Take buchu, cayenne, goldenseal, juniper, licorice, and ura ursi in capsule form.
The best remedy for this disease is the bitter gourd, better known as ‘karela'. Eat this vegetable as often as you can or have at least one tablespoon of karela juice daily to reduce blood sugar levels in your blood and urine.

Cough

If you have allergies year round, cover your pillows and mattress with dust mite covers, use an air purifier, avoid pets and other triggers.
Drink plenty of water and get a good night's sleep.
If you know someone has a cold or the flu, give them plenty of space. The virus is spread through airborne transmission or personal contact. Don't take a chance of exposing yourself to their germs.

Home Remedies for Cough

Take a teaspoon of honey with a few drops of vodka or brandy before bed.
About 10 gm of ginger should be cut into small pieces and boiled in a cup of water. It should then be strained and half a teaspoon of sugar added to it. This decoction should be drunk when hot.
Drink red raspberry, honey suckle, or liquorice tea with honey.
Add a gram of turmeric powder to a teaspoon of honey for curing dry cough.
Add two tablespoons of glycerine and two tablespoons of honey to the lemon juice. Take 1 teaspoonful daily.
The herb belleric myroblan is a household remedy for a cough.
