Eyes Aching

Prevention of Eyes Aching

If you view computer monitors or television screens for long periods at a time, take breaks regularly to alleviate the strain on your eyes.
Strive to avoid regular use of contact lenses.
Contact lens users: Use a lubricant eye drop such as Soothe prior to inserting your lenses and then again after they are removed.
When traveling, avoid direct air flows from vents. At home avoid drafts from heating and air-conditioning vents.

Home Remedies for Eyes Aching

Mix one part of rose water and one part of lime juice. Store in a bottle and use it as an eye drop.
Powder equal quantities of liquorice and cumin (jeera). Take ¼ teaspoon every day along with 1 teaspoon honey for a month.
Using drops of eyebright herb are also beneficial for the eye conditions.
